THE LAST WEEK OF THE REGULAR SEASON

This week I ended up 9-2, 3-1 on Best Bets. That’s 38-19-1 for four weeks and 19-3 for three weeks. Here’s my line for the last week of the regular season:

Saturday, December 30.

N.Y. Giants –3 Washington: They have to win, they want to win, and they should win. But it will be close.

Sunday, December 31.

Cincinnati –6 Pittsburgh: Both teams having been playing below their abilities. The Steelers just don’t seem to care anymore.

Dallas –9 Detroit: Sure, the Cowboys defense sucks. But the Lions have no offense or defense. The Cowboys once again will rebound.

Huston –6 Cleveland: Huston is one of those teams on the improve late in the season. Cleveland is declining fast.

Jacksonville –3 Kansas City: The Jag’s are little smarter then the Chiefs and have a little more talent.

St. Louis –3 Minnesota: Close game. The Rams should win.

New Orleans –8 Carolina: The Saints should dominate.

Jets EVEN Oakland: Nobody should be giving anybody points in this game.

Seattle –7 Tampa Bay: The Seahawks better realize they’re better then they’ve been playing and try a little harder. Tampa would love to beat them.

Tennessee –6 New England: I’m thinking the Titans can win it all. They might have to beat the Patriots twice to do it. They start now.

Baltimore –8 Buffalo: The Ravens are smart enough to keep rolling. The Bills just don’t have any incentive.

Miami –6 Indianapolis: I’m sticking with my “Colts are done theory”.

Philadelphia –7 Atlanta: I’m thinking possible Titans versus Eagles Super Bowl. Atlanta can wait until 2010.

Denver –6 San Francisco: The Broncos should win. The 49’ers just ain’t that good.

San Diego –7 Arizona: The Chargers better get serious. If they can’t cover seven they better forget about going anywhere through the playoffs.

Green Bay –3 Chicago: The Packers want this more then anyone else. The Bears are showing weakness.

Once I get the betting line, I’ll post the picks.
