WEEK SIX
MAKE LOTS OF MONEY THIS WEEKEND
A no-bullshit approach to the games this week. At this point of the season the odds makers don’t know any more then you do. The assholes are basically picking numbers to get your action. Here’s the more realistic lines and you can bet accordingly.
Washington is giving Kansas City 6 ½. The game should be dead even since both teams suck. Take the Chiefs.
Cincinnati is giving up five to Huston. A little off, but don’t waste your money betting this one.
Pittsburgh is giving 14 to Cleveland. Maybe so since no bookmaker in his right mind would make it any bigger.
Minnesota gives Baltimore three. Logically enough. No play here.
Jacksonville is giving up 9 ½ to the hapless Rams. Pretty close so pass.
New Orleans is giving the Giants 3 1/2. Total bullshit. As much as I dislike the Giants, they should win this one. The saints roll against lousy teams, the Giants have been tested. If Eli’s in form this is a no-brainer…take New York.
Carolina is giving Tampa Bay only 3 ½. Sounds pretty fishy to me. Avoid this one.
Green Bay is giving Detroit 13 ½. Both teams suck and at least Detroit is trying to look respectable. Take the Lions.
Philly is giving the Raiders 14. I have to wonder why two touchdowns are all they’re spotting them. Do the line makers think Philly will quit after the first quarter? Give the points. The game is more then likely to be better then 14 to 0 for the Eagles but pass this one anyhow.
Seattle is favored by three over Arizona. Seattle had one decent game and Arizona is as bad as they’re supposed to be. Pass this mess.
The New York jets are giving the hapless Bills 9 ½ points. That sounds right, but if you think the final will be 10-0 you don’t have the slightest idea about the NFL. The Jets will clobber the Bills. The 9 ½ is nothing. The Bills haven’t a chance of finding the end zone. BEST BET OF THE YEAR!!!!
New England is giving the Titans 9 ½. Close enough.
Atlanta is giving 3 ½ to Chicago?! Maybe so. I think the Bears will win, but the actual numbers say otherwise. Stay away from this one.
On Monday night San Diego is favored by 3 ½. Really? The undefeated Broncos are getting points from a 2-2 team? Maybe I’m on a whole different planet, but the Broncos should win this one easily. My record on Monday nights isn’t that great, but this looks like a lock!
